Installing games/XNA on your zune - How to install Zune Games

its on the left side.. just follow the tutorial and theres some pictures of it.

Um... A much more eaiser way is to go here

Startmenu-> All programs -> Microsoft XNA game studio 3.0 CTP -> XNA device studio device center.

This way, it'll bypass the process of finding the X monitor step and directly go to the device center instead.

And then from there you choose Add Device -> Zune -> (YOURZUNEHERE)

It will test the connection and then will be set as the default Zune

you just gotta make sure u delete any version of "microsoft Games for windows" that you have. it worked for me!

does that mean halo 2 for vista won't work if i get rid of it?

i'm pretty sure you don't need to delete games or something... but i don't own halo so i don't know >.< just try it without deleting games.

i just uninstalled microsoft games for windows and the installation worked. when i was watching the installation, i saw that it got installed during the xna installation, so you just gotta uninstall games for windows, and then xna will reinstall it for you.

I have a 30GB zune and i installed alien agressors on it. at first, i couldn't move at all, but i changed:

Buttons.LeftThumbstickUp
with
Buttons.DPadUp

Buttons.LeftThumbstickDown
with
Buttons.DPadDown

This fixed movement in gameplay, but i cannot move up and down in the menus. What do i need to change to fix the menu?

OH Psh... you should've read the release note for the XNA game studio software. It clearly states what you need to do. One of the highlighted thing was uninstall the microsoft games.

BTW.. you should look at all the documentation before you install anything.

edit again: i actually couldn't find any thing in the other "state.cs"s. to change.

for some reason, whenever I try to open galactic wars 3 (after downloading it), it will only open in Winrar. plus, there's no "Build" option in Visual C# anyway...help!

i got the same thing. Reinstalled, no difference. I'm running vista x64. Somehow i think thats the issue.

I think RUNTOHELL should put ABOSLUTELY HUGE UPPERCASE on the 1st post saying 64BIT OPERATING SYSTEM IS NOT SUPPORTED

yea i should >.< getting annoyed with people that can't install it using x64 lolz..

but.. now i can't edit? the edit button gets remove when i don't use it or what?

I'm running a x32. But yeah, I got to the point where I found build, but when I click "Deploy Alien Aggressors [zune]" and I get the Save File As window, I click save, then I get the error list with 24 errors, the first one being

Error 1 The project file 'C:\Documents and Settings\Kenter\Local Settings\Temp\Rar$DI21.0844\Content\Content.conten tproj' has been moved, renamed, or is not on your computer. The project will be labeled as "unavailable" in Solution Explorer. 0 0

and all the other errors are just files that could not be opened.

When i download "microsoft Visula C# Express" i install it and all, but there is No way for me to open it. to desktop thumbnail, absolutely no way to open! its frustrating, SOMEONE HELP please.. i have the same problem as "GoodbyeStupid" SOMEONE HELP!!!!!!!! I hate this problem
