If you're desperate for games, just download vmware(free) of virtualPC (also free from microsoft) and install a 32bit windows on it.

Remember.. right now games are for developers for testing purpose only. To install games without all the side download will probably happen next year.

When I click on the Zune image to add a Zune device an error pops-up but I'm able to click continue but it does not list any devices despite my being plugged in. :x

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.
All I've done is first install the C# Express 2008 and then XNA 3.0 as per the instructions and added the bar to have the monitor+x icon. D:

um... If you read all 8 pages of this thread, you would've known that 64bit operation system isn't supported.

Yes, I'm going to read 8 pages instead of asking a harmless question. If the thread was shorter and not filled with posts like 'good stuff' I would have.

Why isn't it supported? The programs seem to work fine and there are 64 bit versions of seemingly all of the software (Watch the C# install on a Vista64 install).

Default Can't install Microsoft XNA Game Studio

When I try to install the xna game studio, I get this error message:

"...Setup ended prematurely due to an error. Your system has not been modified. To install this program at a later time, please run the installation again."

I've tried disabling the connection to the Xbox 360, and the the thing about the networked games, or what ever it was, during installation. Still got the same error message.

I'm using:
Windows Vista Home Premium 32 Bit
2GB
1.86GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
1st Gen Zune 30GB

if you're using one of the front usb ports, try using one of the rear ones. the front ones usually supply less energy than the rear ports.

updating your computer, checking do you have 3.0 or whatever .NET Framework... might work
