i have a zune 80 gig V2. Do i just google updates or something? or go to the website?

EDIT: There was an update i could do when i opened the zune software. Ill try that and see if it works.

so you want updates.. just check update on zune software or reinstall the zune software.

Hope fully i wont have to.

EDIT: Ok now it connected. I need a LITTLE more help though. for some reason i dont have an option to deploy to the zune. Any ideas?

I got this error on my laptop with Vista.

I used my roomates desktop with xp and things worked fine...

I guess try find a diff computer to use preferably without vista

vista should work fine, just keep your computer up to date and make sure the .NET framework thingy is new lol

For Vista Users only:

Please uninstall live games or else the games won't deploy to your zune.

as I said.... my problem down to the last detail..... meaning I too am fully updated...all firmware and everything else, all Windows patches..everything. Except the OS which is XP, but I don't think this mod is limited to Vista users, so I'm still not sure what the problem is.

is there any way of not installing C#? When I downloaded it and went for install, it started downloading a whole lot of other things like .NET framework and SQL servers. It was taking too long (about 45 minutes) on .Net Framework so I just quit. If this is the only way to add games, it's a little ridiculous though I love the zune

when C#2008 sync with it.. then when its done.. it'll stay on that screen that you have. its just saying waiting for computer to respond to add things

you need the latest .NET framework thats mainly about it, other options are optional to download. mainly when you download it first time off the internet just keep on clicking next and stay with the only option that was chosen already.

oh. my. GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOd. I've reinstalled and uninstalled the zune software 5 times already from various locations (zune.net, szip2...) and now XNA gives me some crud about trying to find the installation file Zune.msi in a temp directory which I've searched for AND extracted it from the zune-x86 installation package. Oh, and now XNA froze.... wow ok...

and now I can't sync to zune software... odd, i hear the sound of disconencting and connecting the zune, but my zune doesn't say connected or anything
here we go again with another re install...

unzooned, reinstalled. couldn't uninstall any other way
xna and zune now connected. I can finally read the rest of the tutorial. woot, now all i need is a blue screen of death.

ok Alien Aggressors works. Sweet, I'm proud of myself. the site hosting galactic wars is out of bandwidth, someone should mirror it when it comes back up. and also, is it normal that my zune restarts after playing alien aggressors? I have a feeling playing games is going to kill the battery because the hd is constantly spinning

On The Adding Device Step It Tells Me To Click On The Zune Or 360 So I Click On The Zune And When I Do A Screen Shows Up Telling Me To Connect The Zune To Test.. So I Redue It And Connect The Zune This Time This Happens Again Even If The Zune Is Connected... So Whats Going On????
