Hey, I need some help. I followed the tutorial to the tee, and I get the error: "Error 1 The given path's format is not supported." When I try to deploy.
I've already reinstalled both Visual C# and XNA and tried, no go. I also tried starting over several times.. Nothing.
Here's a couple of fixes
1) Change your zune's name to Zune
2) Make sure the software is closed and your zune isn't syncing
3) Make sure your using the latest software and programs
Every time i try to install Visual C#, it always gets to about 3 out of 61 megabytes done, then it says: Setup.exe has stopped working. I can't get it to install!

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.
For example:
<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>
When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.
What do I do? I REALLY want this to work!
Using VISTA x64 with SP1. Downloaded everything in the 64-bit IE the second time, and still did not work....installed with all options...what do I do!??!
so it finally worked and downloaded. i updated to vista SP1 which may have made a difference or something. now everything is all good. thanks for the guide. =D.
I downloaded Windows XP sp3, recently.. Do you think that that would be my problem?
I was thinking about downgrading, anyway. My stylexp stopped working. D:

Ok this is really jacked up for me here so idk what to do.
i open up the c# and the XNA studio thing and then hook up my zune. everything is up to date (2.5)
as soon as i hook my Zune up it says Connected (on the zune) but i dont have zune stuff on my computer open
so now when i go to the XNA deal and click on +ADD DEVICE i pick zune, and my zune shows up
so when i click on it to test the connectivity with my computer, the zune doesn't say connected anymore, and it takes me to the main page on the zune (music, vids, podcast, settings, etc...) for only a split second then reboots itself
after all that i get this message
XNA Game Studio Connect
connection attempt failed
exit
so i went to try and do the +ADD DEVICE thing again and i go through all that again
I really need some help i've been gloating to all my ipod buddies about how zune has games and ill fer sure get my ass chewed out if i cant deliver lol

ok if u see ur zune that is already in the XNA Game studio, just right click and choose remove, then add it again then deploy the game and it should be done (dont open the zune program)
