uuummm yeah i have a problem getting the xna studio device manager to communicate with m zune. My zune displays the connected screen until the device manager tries to connect with my zune. Then the zune displays the normal zune menu as thought it were not connected. The device manager then proceeds to inform me that it cannot communicate with my zune. Do you have any ideas on how to fix it?
So I keep getting hung up trying to install the visual studios. It tried to install the .net framework 3.5 and couldnt connect to the server. I manually dled and installed it, and the same thing happened with the .net framework SDK. Cant find that one anywhere so I'm not sure what to do now. I've got genuine XP and I really want to start programming some games. Anybody have any ideas or advice?
Whenever I try to install visual C#, I get an error about copying the file "$shtdwn$.req". For some reason the file was on my second hard drive, which isn't a typical windows file system, which could be the problem. I did some research, and found out that windows uses the largest drive to put temp stuff on, so thats why its not on my main C drive. Anyone know how to get around this error?
ummm i cant quite connect my zune to my computer... im running windows xp pro sp2 and i dont have my zune software running. and i have a zune 30gb

i keep getting that error also. "this project type is not supported by this installation" i get that when i try to load up both games.
Same problem here. I get that same error when I try to create a new xna game project too. It's not a problem with the games, it's something else goofy. Any suggestions would be most excellent. Can't "deploy anyway"...there is no option to do that. One variable that I have, I have Visual Studio Pro 2003 and Visual Studio Standard 2005 also installed on this machine. I've tried doing file associations to the new program. Is there an XNA plugin for VS C# 2005 that this might work with? Anyone? Anyone?
mmk... here is my problem. i have installed everything you tell me to... and when i go to add my device on XNA, it gives me this heap of gibberish.

I can make out some of it... but my zune isn't connected to anything at the time, nothing is running, not even WMP 11. ive reinstalled XNA, ive updated my zune software to 2.5, everything good. I just can't get it to work, and i would prefer not to do a hard reset on my zune. how do you propose to fix this runt?
