Overclocking your Windows Mobile Phone

What you will need:
Windows Mobile phone with Windows Mobile 5 or 6
The BatteryStatus .cab file on your device.
BatteryStatus(freeware)

WARNING: Overclocking any device could harm or even kill your device. Overclocking using this method will not work on every device.

Step 1: Install BatteryStatus onto your Windows Mobile phone and open it up.

Step 2: Go the the "Omap" tab.

Step 3: Next to Original Speed, tap "Get."

Step 4: Check "Overclock to Speed", and set the speed you want to clock the processor at.(I do not recommend overclocking more than 80mhz, don't get discouraged though, 80mhz can make a huge difference on a mobile device.)

Step 5: Click "Set."

I tried this on my phone and was able to boost it from 195mhz to 270, pretty sweet.

There's also a standalone app for this too. OmapClock. Don't have a link handy, but a quick google will find it.
