Here is a video tutorial I made that explains how to use an original xbox controller on your PC for any game that supports a gamepad/joystick!

Sure you could just buy a wired xbox 360 controller, but thats not as cool!!

REMEMBER: You dont need the yellow wire!!! just cut it out!

XBCD 1.07 (98/ME/2000/XP)

For Vista, Download the XBCD 1.07 drivers and install them, then, upgrade them with this: http://redcl0ud.1.forumer.com/index.php?showtopic=1535

lol. Its VERY easy jon you could do it.

the only slightly difficult part is stripping the wires. thats it.

That's pretty cool, but the original Xbox controllers were behemoths. They were HUGE!

Why not just get a wireless Xbox controller and a PC reciever? That's what I got going on, and it works great for Halo Combat Evolved!

Nice. I should try to do this for combat evolved. it would make it a hell of alot easier to play.

Well that bites. Little story, last Summer, my house got struck by lightning, causing little to no fire (yay), BUUUUUT, a few of the electronics went to the dumps, one being the Xbox (thankfully not the 360, though that had to be repaired a few months later), so we gave away all of the controlers to one of my dad's friend's step-son and sold the games to Blockbuster. Moral of the story, we don't have anymore Xbox controllers, but we still have the 360 Wireless controlers and the PC reciever.

the very first 1's were, but the 1s sold at game stop now for like $10-20 are very reasonably sized, some are child sized as well. i occasionally find my self pressing the Y button when im trying to bxr, thats big reason i never moved on over to the extra small controllers.

well people,i did it!!and it was.....well......how can i say this......it.......was a....SUCCESS!!!!haha yeah got it to work and everything,took time cause i couldnt find vista drivers,but we managed to find some,thanks gow

I couldn't even make a Gundam Wing my friend bought me... I broke the friggen little pieces while taking them out..

Actually, it is because the Xbox 360 Controller is more comfortable. They got it perfect.
