In this tutorial I am going to show you how to do three things: 1. Copy a DVD and burn it to a 4.7Gb DVD 2. How to deal with VOB files 3. Convert any video file to DVD such as AVI.
Programs Needed: DVDFab Platinum ConvertXtoDVD Download I. Copying the DVD & Burning 1. Open DVDFab to the "Main Movie" tab in the navigation menu on the top left. ![]() 2. Now go to the thing that looks like this next to the close button, and set your settings to the ones shown in the pic below. (Even if your Optical Drive can support 48X you need to burn DVDs slowly or they can lag). ![]() 3. Select the Source of the DVD for this part of the tutorial just find your optical drive. Usually it will do it automatically. Once you have done this now it is time to select the the destination *If you only have one optical drive its ok to select the one that the DVD is currently in, DVDFab allows for a two step process where it converts then allows you to remove the DVD and put in a blank DVD for it to burn to* ![]() ![]() 5. Hit start and let it do its thing. For those of you with slower computers leave your computer alone while its doing this. It will convert from anywhere around 10min to 30min around this time if you are using the same drive to copy and burn you will need to remove the Movie and insert a blank disk only when instructed to though by the program. II. Dealing with VOB files 1. Assuming you already know how to use DVDFab (if not just use the tut above) Find the source file VIDEO_TS wherever you have either downloaded it to or used another program to convert. The button you want to use looks like this 2. Now just make all of your settings look like the ones below and start the process. ![]() III. Coming Soon.....
