Another Zune 2 Software Solution

Sorry about the grammar

Download Zune 2 software

Open it with WinRAR

Go to packages

Open Zune-x86.msi

Let it install

DO NOT click ok when the error comes up

Go to Program Files

Open Zune

Cut and paste contents to folder on desktop

Click ok on error and error after it

Go back to Program Files and paste Zune folder contents back into Zune If there is no Zune folder make one

Then double click on Zune.exe and it should start up

In essence, it's pretty much the same thing as my "Installing on non-US Windows by bypassing Windows Update"

Except yours throws errors...

I guess I'll move it to tutorials, but know there are easier ways. See the above link.

When I open the software, nothing happens. I watched the process close itself in the task manager.

I REALLY NEED HELP!! My zune wouldnt show up in the software so i deleted the prog and then went to redownload, and it said to remove the previous one, i tried installing version 1.1 off CD and then upgrading, but it wouldnt work either, i tried installing the new one over the old one from zune.net and nothing works. I tried doing this but it wont work saying i have an older version!! I NEED my zune software back, someone help me! PLEASE!

did you try UnZoone and then reinstalling?
