OK, using Zune 30 with latest version 2.3 on Vista software. Rip CD in Zune software. Zune doesn't recognize CD , so right click album box & edit album & artist info. Rip songs , check List and find all correct except Artist is listed as Unknown. right click artist and change, move to next song and it changes right back. go to Browse, same thing. Open WMP11 and songs are listed correctly , Artist and all. Go to computer and look up song file and click Properties and all is OK. Whats Up ? Thats everything listed here, won't work! I hope I can solve some of my other problems on this site, have many. Not happy with new version.

To get to song properties:

1. Find the song you want to edit on the computer (not in the software)
2. Right click
3. Click "properties"
4. Switch the tab over to summary
5. Edit the song and hit apply
6. Click ok

Alternate method:

1. Find the song you want to edit in the software
2. Right click
3. Click "properties"
4. Click the orange text
5. Right click on the song file
6. Click "properties"
7. Switch the tab over to summary
8. Edit the song and hit apply
9. Click ok
When I did that, I deleted the file in my Zune Software, then re-added the changed one. Zune couldn't add it because "media type invalid." And yes, I added the other files in that album folder, which I didn't change, and they were added.
