hmm, i might give it a try. looks nice and has the ability to split output files which seems useful. i've been using cucusoft up to now, but if this is faster, i may change.

Use Total Video Converter(I've said that like 1000 times now ) It does everything, including Zune formats. It's my favorite program ever.

Default DVR-MS/XP MCE Conversion - Zune v2 with XP

Anyone Tried MyTVtoGO? It looks like a viable option for XP MCE users who want the Media Center Conversion options that Zune2/Vista combo provides.

Since I can't post the URL, google it.

Let me know, I want to move to Zunev2, but don't want to lose my XPMCE DVR-MS conversion I had with the v1 hacks.

It seems that the Zune software still has to convert when using those settings. When I use the WMV 9 Encoder setting it syncs to the Zune without a second conversion. The file size and quality is about the same but WinAVI does take longer to convert with that setting.

Anyway, thank you Dargod for the tutorial. I've been stressing over WME9 for quite awhile now but thanks to you its over. The only problem that I have now is choosing a Encoder (I'm a quality whore and I'm damn well proud of it.) I have tried Broadband (NTSC, 700 Kbps), Broadband (NTSC, 1400 Kbps), and WMV9 DVD Quality Encoder. I immediatley noticed the huge quality loss from encoding with Broadband (NTSC, 700 Kbps) but Broadband (NTSC, 1400 Kbps) and WMV9 DVD Quality Encoder produce almost the same quality. The only thing that Broadband (NTSC, 1400 Kbps) has over WMV9 DVD Quality Encoder is that it is much much faster. Well, if there is anything better I'd be glad if someone pointed it out, thanks again.

Default Free?

Is WinAVI free? If it isn't, what's a free program that I could use to do the same thing.

You seem to be a video guru. Can you please help me out.
When I convert a wide screen movie and play it back on the Zune everything is all squished together and is just plain horrible to look at. What setting would I need to change/adjust to make video appear in wide screen and not squished screen?

nvrmind, I got it bro. WinAvi rocks! ^_^

I hate having multiple programs to do the job of one, which is why I use JetAudio. It's not only a skinnable, featured packed media player that happens to sound the best of any I've ever tried on my computer, but it also is a file converter as well. I can also make ringtones with it and burn cd's, rip cd's, etc.
