Default Laptop trackpad

I have a laptop that I've been using for roughly a year and the paint on the trackpad is starting to wear. I was wondering if there was any way of painting it or covering it up so that it doesn't look so worn.

Try placing a couple pieced of printing paper over the trackpad and see if you can still use it. Make sure you can Tap-Click and everything... If you can, you could probably use a sticker of some sort. Or a really light paint job.
