I have iPOD NANO...its really Cool iPOD...its looking Good and working Best...I love it and its great that i have that.

I have a 5th Generation black ipod video, 30 Gigs. 2500 songs, 250 videos including 24 episodes of AYHF, 12 Family Guys 12 Simpsons, all the American Pies and other stuff.

I had the 3rd gen ipod. Then one day the piece of crap decided not to turn off. So naturally, I waited for it to do so, charged it up, and when I tried to turn it back on, what did I see? That freakin, Ipod sad face ****.

Went to get it fixed, turned out it would cost almost as much just to get a new one. So i decided to say screw it altogether. Zune plz help me!

Ya, DON'T PLUG POWERED SPEAKERS INTO YOUR IPOD OR THE HARDDRIVE WILL GET FRIED.

Yea the transmitter is fine. I gave mine to Putz, sice I had no need for it.

I owned a 4th Gen iPod for the past 2 years. It died a couple months ago. Darn Hard Drive :-(.

2 years is not bad at all! My old Olympus MR100 lasted for about 10 months.

I'm really happy it lasted as long as it did! I Bought it thinking the battery would die after a year or I would drop it and the hard drive would fail. But I took the risk anyway and was amazed the battery never even seemed to age. And after 2 years of using it to backup files and transfer gigs and gigs of data from one computer to another It did so much more then I ever imagined it would.. My best friend purchased a Philips Hard-drive-based player and it died after 5 months of simple usage.

Well, there are some mixed reviews about the ipod. I guess it's all about the user and luck. And of course, either you were a good user, or you were just lucky :P

I have a 5th gen black 30gb iPod video. I love it and have had no problems so far. As to the powered speaker issue, I have played it over powered Logitech speakers many times without any issues.

Well, it was my friends, and it was the 2nd generation 20gb. So it might have been a problem that was fixed, because I have the same one as you, and I was using powered speakers, until that happened, and he told me.
Better safe than sorry.

I have the ipod nano(black). It's the small 1GB version. I was thinking about eventually getting the video ipod, but I really like the zune. If I decide to change mp3 players to something non-apple its going to be a pain in the but.

I have a black 5th gen Ipod Video. It was sort of a strange transition from a 60gig to a 30 gig but I really like the zune so I dont really mind anymore.

I own a 5g 30 gig white iPod. Unfortunately, I got it as a christmas present and by the time I was able to get a case for it (~1 day after I started using it), it was already scratched up something awful and I'm just hoping it will die under warranty so I can get a new one, sell it on eBay, and buy something else.
