Motorola DROID - Verizon Wireless

Any VZW customers out there planning on getting the Droid? I'm still not positive but I'm thinking about it. I just got done reading the Engadget Review. Verizon has always been the Best Network with The Worst Phones.

They always cripple the phones with Custom UI and features. It never really bothered me since I don't do much other then Talk, Message and use the Alarm in the morning. But this thing is actually kinda secksi. It runs Android 2.0 the $200 price point isn't bad at all.


Side Note~~ The VZW Road Side Assistance for $3 a month is totally worth it.

'DROID' refers to a series of phones... not a single phone. I'm guessing you're talking about the motorola being released, and not the HTC device... since this thread says 'motorola DROID'. It looks like a nice phone, but personally I like the HTC better (and motorola has had some issues with smartphone in the past.)

Eventually there will be a series of "Droids" but the official name for the device I'm talking about is simply "Droid". Or "Motorola Droid", if you prefer.
