I think that this uses a core i7. All the specs are on Dell's website if your really interested.

The specs actually do seem really good. Though, you have to remember, numbers aren't everything. Acers tend to have a lot of nice numbers on their spec sheets, yet they are in reality the budget brand of computers.

Besides, it is trying to market its aluminum casing as strong and durable? Ha! I really hope that anyone who invests that much into a computer like that is going to buy accidental protection. IMO, the only material that you can safely market as strong and durable is steel. Yes, its heavier, but I easily "lug" my 12lb Lenovo T61P all around campus, and I easily survive.

Source of my information: Working at a tech help center at my uni.

EDIT: Oh, and I'm glad they are putting DDR3 in that. My bookstore sells the supposedly "newest and best" from Lenovo, Dell, and Apple. The T500 and T400s both have DDR3 and other updated specs while the Dell E6400s are still a generation behind. Yet, they both sell for about the same price....

Aluminum doesnt shatter like plastic. And if you really wanna get into it you can use titanium grade a. And the RAM is what gets me because i only have 3 gigs right now at ddr2 and my comp runs good. This Adamo does seem very interesting.

I don't know if this thing beats the macbook air though. On the specs it says it is 0.65 inches.

Yeah, I don't think it has a CD/DVD/Blu-Ray drive either, so it's just as worthless as the Macbook Air.

EDIT: With some Googling, I found the specs (I think).

Price: $2,299
Processor: 1.4GHz CPU
SSD: 128 GB
Release: July 2010

I'm not sure that's completely right though...
