The specs actually do seem really good. Though, you have to remember, numbers aren't everything. Acers tend to have a lot of nice numbers on their spec sheets, yet they are in reality the budget brand of computers.
Besides, it is trying to market its aluminum casing as strong and durable? Ha! I really hope that anyone who invests that much into a computer like that is going to buy accidental protection.
IMO, the only material that you can safely market as strong and durable is steel. Yes, its heavier, but I easily "lug" my 12lb Lenovo T61P all around campus, and I easily survive.

EDIT: Oh, and I'm glad they are putting DDR3 in that. My bookstore sells the supposedly "newest and best" from Lenovo, Dell, and Apple. The T500 and T400s both have DDR3 and other updated specs while the Dell E6400s are still a generation behind. Yet, they both sell for about the same price....
