I'm looking for good headphones that aren't earbuds, but the big ear classic ones. I want them to look cool, sound good, and be under 60 dollars, am i out of my mind or does such a thing exist?
Any input appreciated. |

I second the Grados. Other options might include AKG and Sennheiser.
Want a list? Headphone Buyer's Guide - Head-Fi: Covering Headphones, Earphones and Portable Audio List goes from $15 to $1000 with Closed, Open and Earbuds sections to each major price range. The section you are looking for is near the top of the list. The more you scroll down the higher it goes.

Whatever you do, do not get Skullcandy headphones, they're horrible. For under $60, AKG is a good brand to look at:
If you're willing to spend a little more, you can get Denon D1001's, which are excellent headphones, probably the best sounding you can find for under $100, for a great price now (notice it's less than half the suggested retail price). Look under the 3rd party merchants, ANTOnline has them for $73 (before shipping): or from buy.com Last edited by HipHopScribe : 10-05-2008 at 08:12 AM. ![]() |
