New Msn =] Beta Version

Just heard from a friend a new Beta version of the online messaging client MSN. Its pretty neat! Go check it out and download here. Its pretty nice very graphically changed.
The main features i noticed straight away were:
Green Yellow and Red squares next to your contacts - this shows as Green - Active, Yellow - Away and Red - Busy
Also the new design looks very nice!! and you can finally hide those display pictures!!! Many hidden buttons (above the name in a chat window, there is a button that appears to hide the top strip, and also next to the chat itself on the left.)
There is also a setting that shows you everyones changes, being that to their name, or Windows Space.
But the coolest thing that i have found so far, is in your display picture, you can change it with mood your in! So if you put a smiley, say

, it will change to a picture of you smiling! or a short video (Click your display picture on the main MSN client, then click "Tile with Moods" (Must have a webcam to work))
Other things include, When playing music, it doesnt hide your nickname, just adds it to the end. You can change the "scene" by going to the top hand corner of the main MSN client, which also changes the background in your chatboxes.

I think its really nice, very modern and smooth. Try it for yourself. PM me if you want to add me on MSN.

I have been using it for a while now.

I love it when I use Vista (Desktop) and miss it when I use Debian (Notebook). Best incarnation of WLM yet, in my opinion.

nice =] it is fun still finding things out now. very swish and modern and graphically enhancing to a program that already looked really nice (compared to earlier builds)

i've been using it since i saw the little link on the bottom that says try the beta. its awesome. i just wish it would have a link so i can see who is on xbox live.

it shows in their nickname if they are playing their xbox. Also it shows the game their playing, and their gamertag

i know but i dont have the email address associated with all of my friends on xbox live
before it would show everyone on my friends list regardless of if i had their email address that is associated with their live account

I've been using it for a while now, got the link from Gow-*****.

I like it. It's a bit buggy as far as posting custom smilies, I can't see them when I post them, so most times I dunno if they work unless whoever I'm conversing with comments on it. I really like the signature sounds. It's fun. I like appearing offline then appearing online again to make my sound play for other people just to annoy them.

I've got to do that. *goes off to make a clip of 2 Minutes to Midnight...or Sweating Bullets...hard to decide.*

Locke, it can only be a max of 5 seconds in length and you can clip it with the messenger software. It loads up the entire song and you move the slider to where you want it, add fade in and fade out if you want.

Hmm...only 5 seconds, huh? That will take some though. Maybe some of the opening to "The Number of the Beast" with the scripture recital would be fitting. *scratches head*

I have been using it for a while. Also, it is called Windows Live Messenger. It has not been called "MSN" for some time now.
