Google is fighting IE now with a browser of it's own! It's expected to come out tomorrow, and it looks frickin' shweet. It includes:
* A new UI that places the tabs above the address bar, instead of the traditional way
* Incognito mode, which will allow you to browse the web in complete privacy, without recording any of your activity.
* A new JavaScript engine to speed things up
* They've even put up a web comic to provide users with additional information regarding Chrome.
Sweet. Looks like they took stuff from Opera, FF, and IE and mashed it all together. I'm not so sure about the multiple processes, but we'll see. The new permissions system has been somewhat available through third party software, but it's good to see it as a free feature. I'm definitely going to download this.

We shall see if Google is capable of anything other than having a good search engine...
That web comic is just propaganda, and I do not see much of an advantage of having the tabs above the address bar. I am not paranoid enough to jump for joy about the 'incognito' mode.

I'm not so sure about it.
Sure, it's nice to see another open source application, but just because it is one and it's by google doesn't mean it's a must have.
FF3 works solidly for me.
So far as I understand it, this is just the first step in a Google OS and while I like google, I'm not going to make my computer ergo centric around it.
