Google Chrome Adblock plugin

Might work a bit better than Adblock+ plugin as it will require less clicking and is customizable.

Thanks Gow, Privoxy is an awesome way of boosting speed in Google Chrome, and its very customizable. Im even more happy with Chrome now!

I completely agree. Besides, it is subjective to say something is "better" overall than something else unless all aspects of said things could be comparatively measured. There is more to Internet browsers than benchmarks can compare.

I have now discovered the ultimate adblock: a hosts file!

im amazed i didn't try it before! im not seeing any ads in chrome now.

..... as I type this one of those damn hellspawn talking ads started! DAMNIT!

I use Internet Explorer 7 and I see no ads.

I use Opera; whatever ads I do see I can add to the block list with a simple right click.

I agree with LPX, The future is the future, IE7 could be the next best thing but as of now FF is still my choice.

I'll use chrome when im on my windows system(<2% of the time) but I'll probably keep using FF even after chrome is released on linux.

I really want to try this thing out....... but there's still not a linux version of it..... but from waht i hear it's really fast.....

im using it right now and i love it. whenever i dont have to use IE7 i use this. its easier quicker and so much less hassle gets in your way. when you get the chance get it. you wont regret it.

Grab the Chromium source code and build a linux version and be the hero of many.

I dropped Google Chrome in favor of the non-branded, open source, non-call home Chromium browser. Combined with Chrome Nightly update I can get the latest builds of chromium instead of having to visit this webpage:
