Hmm. Well, I'm going to make a wild assumption and guess that these ads are being created more so for the purpose of improving the general public's view of Windows Vista rather than combating Apple. A product can only be spoken of negatively for so long before people accept it without even bothering to research it for themselves.

Well M$ HAS to fight back. There has been such bad rep for Windows Vista due to Windows DRM in the background and all the other stuff I'm not getting into, that combined with the Mac Ads are making people hate it too much so they NEED to fight back.

I just hope Apple learns how to shut the **** up. Then again, we all do.

i dont care who that get for the ads vista is just like ME it sucks because it was rushed and should have been tested and bugged before it was released who knows it might have been better than it is in its present state.

finally, MS is doing something.....now all they have to do is write a new OS that's soo stable that it makes up for Vista.

i dont know if anyone has ever used a live cd version of linux but microsoft should do somthing of that nature so the consumer can make there own flavor of OS. thats just my opinion

well i've used the live disks... but then how could one be able to do this for MS?

The development period for XP was way under 3 years. The development period for Vista was just about 6 years. So what are you talking about? ME did suck. It was horrible. There are many reasons for that conclusion to be made about it.

Vista does not suck. It is your opinion that it sucks. I do not have any problems with it. I think it is great. That should make it great, then. There are many people that know how to use their computers properly and have little or no problems with Vista.

The Mac commercials spread lies in order to make Vista seem like crap. Slander in commercials should be illegal.

I agree, I love Vista I haven't had any problems at all. Everything's working just fine, I don't understand how people think it's so terrible because it isn't.

It's working fine for me as well, but I guess it depends on what Edition you have and what exactly it is that you use your computer for. A lot of people try to run it on insufficient hardware as well.

Actually, it is completely opinionated. You may dislike his opinion, but there is no fact that Windows Vista is a good operating system or a bad one. It all depends on how you look at it.

They don't even lie. They have ads that show Bill saying "It's not what Vista can do for you, it's what can you do for Vista!" and such. They don't say ANYTHING about Mac OS X or Windows Vista.

The only thing I like about the Apple ads is that they are SOMETIMES funny. Of course, this one tops them any commercial Microsoft or Apple could ever make, and it was done for free:
