okay, from what i have so far, I went out and I brought an Acer Aspire One, the 1gb ram, 120gb, window xp version, so far this laptop is pretty good. the keyboard size, it is small, but it is easy to type, better than the Asus EEE 900 I've tried at my local bestbuy. the screen is pretty good, but small, which i don't mind. the price, was around $350 when i brought mine.

NO! NOT THE ACER! Oh well.... yeah 350$ is a good price for it.... well I guess have fun.

lol keyboard is bigger than most netbook.. just screen is like 1" smaller.. all the function of each netbook is almost the same... most of them use the same mobo and cpu.. only case, hard drive, and rams are a bit different..

Sorry to bump the thread up, but theres an update
Acer Aspire One is now selling a 6 cell/160gb HD/1gb ram version for $399 on some websites.
Dell Mini 9 has been officially released yesterday September 4, 2008

I would say to stay away from acer. I have an aspire 5100 and it's falling apart. I hope yours will do better.
