Well ive been bored, and want to learn about the best tv's out there.I know that 1080p is the top,but im not sure about some other stuff.
I saw this one and thought this one has to be good, its 1080p,samsung has always been an awesome brand, and 20,000:1 contrast ratio seems really good. Also 60Mhz seems like a good refresh rate,i dont know anything about that stuff. So Im just wondering, what else do i need to look for when buying a real, and quality HDTV?

Size- how big you want your tv
Vertical Resolution-480,720,1080 i or p (i=interlaced-every other line refreshed at once, p=progressive-every line refreshed at once) 1080p is the best but it depends on what size you get cuz on anything 32" or smaller and you can't tell the diffrance Contrast Ratio- the bigger the difference the brighter you whits can be and the darker or darks can be Inputs- should be looked at. ya know how much, how, and what you want to hook up to it.... Response time- in milliseconds(ms) how fast the image shows on the screen(the lower number the better)...computer monitors are between 2ms and 8ms typically,,, 42" ive seen 5-8ms on the fast end(this makes a difference when playing games like guitar hero and such) yep thats what i know/got to say yeah thats a good tv ... i use to work in electronics @ Wal*Mart

Is that an OLED? Those things are wicked expensive. Oh, according to the site, it is...both. They also don't live very long, even compared to a plasma or LCD. But they do save on power and space, and may eventually be used as a paper-thin screen that can be placed on anything, from car ceilings to actual paper.
