Android Phone master the social?

Google has powered the developement of a new android phone The phone's a powerful machine,but I think what really sets it apart is that is open source. This means that deveopers and such will be encouraged by google developers and aided, rather than being in a battle with the producers code as the fight to turn other players into open source players has been. This phone also already has programs out/in developement that will make it, what I consider, the ultimate "social" device.
There are profiles for people, much like zunecards, but they're actually on the device!
there's a LOCO program that when used will show where your friends with other android phones are (and possibly allow you to find and crash every party around).
There's also a ton more programs utilizing gps capabilities such as locale which changes settings based on your location, so you could set it to automatically turn to vibrate upon entering school or work, and unswitch when you leave
RE:Public works with profiles and let's you view other profiles around your area, and see what events they're attendingand track location in real time, much like LOCO
KEI uses bluetooth technology to autounlock your car as you approach
Flare is another tracking program, designed to track employees in real time (I'm not sure how this would be different than LOCO unless it had some tool that let you create map of your work place or something...)

Basically it's a powerful portable machine, and for once the company is making it open source, so it really can be easily made to fit all your needs...

I see the new monopoly in portable media coming so long as they can advertise well...

That sounds kickawesome. Especially the automatically turning off, and the car unlock. Sweet. So sweet.

google would be awesomeif done right so you could drive around in real fantasy real world ( ithink that's what you'd call it) and then just kinda race poeple for game creds or pink slips in their car and stuff, but it will take much developement to get there...

this is gonna be cool. also, FYI in case you didn't know, there is no 'android phone' just the android os for phones(like win mobile 6 except sooooooooo much cooler looking.)

android phone=phone with android os...so as soon as you put android os on your phone, at least to me, you have an android phone!

....plus android os for obile devices is just too long to keep typing...android phone is much shorter
