I have just upgraded my laptop to Ubuntu 8.04 and now I cannot view the wireless tab in the Network Manager. I know that the hardware is recognized by ndiswrapper, but im not to sure it has installed. This is what the terminal says once I have tried to run the "sudo depmode" code:
![]() The code I am talking about is in the last two lines. To me it looks as if nothing was processed as no errors or confirmations were made after code was entered. As to the tab problem I am taking about here is another picture: ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Hrmm... were you using a driver like madwifi? Also, what kind of link do you have to your kernel and is it valid? I believe you need a hard link or it will not function correctly.

Install madwifi in Ubuntu
Installing MadWifi drivers...if you have an Atheros Wifi card. What wireless card are we is in the notebook?
