Default Vista Folder Problem

For some unknown reason, every time I view any folder on my PC in Windows Vista Ultimate x64, they all act like the folder I'm viewing is a music folder. Does anyone know how to make this back to the way it used to be? I've tried resetting everything in the File > Tools > Window Options or whatever it is, but it's still the same. Here's a picture:

There's only a folder in there, and it acts like there is music.

If anyone can help, thanks,
Nate

Right click the folder, click Properties, click the Customize tag and try setting it back to Documents.

Yeah, pretty much what they said. Though, it doesn't always work because it's Mircrosoft, so sometimes it's just determined to make it what it wants it to be(My Documents is eternally stuck as music, and My Music is eternally stuck as regular documents). Though, I'm starting to wonder what you have to do with the DoD and why you could possibly need to hide in a drive name.

Press the Alt key with the window active, go to View>Customize this folder and set it from Videos/Music to Documents.

Enjoy.

Windows is not hard...people just think it is.

Also for Music folder you can set the details through View>Choose Details.

Yes but it's done this to nearly every damn folder in my PC, and I don't want to go through all of them and do this myself. Even with that subfolder button, it doesn't work in the C drive where Vista is.

Was this directed at me? Becuase XP(or at least XP Home) doesn't give the option to Customize for special folders like My Documents or My Music. It's just the way it's made.

Um...some of them won't have the Music layout but a similar layout that has columns for name, date, size, etc. It looks similar but it is not the same layout. Just use the view button if you don't need to see the details.

For those just choose details and eliminate the columns you won't need.

@locke

No. Unless you have Vista, which you don't.
