I typically trust CoolerMaster and Antec the most, but CoolMax currently powers both my custom pcs without fail. They are also very cheap after MIR.
On another point, are you sure it's the PSU? I've never heard of a PSU giving the BSOD. It might be a bad driver with the new GPU. Try booting into safe mode or "Last Known Good Config" when presented with the option.
Could you post what error code the BSOD shows?

Add Corsair and Ultra onto that list.

Also check FrozenCPU for power supplies it is where I got my Ultra PSU.

Go for a Modular power supply is my only other suggestion.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817339021
got it in yesterday and everthing works fine now. Modular power supplys are nice but they also cost more, i will defiantly get one for my next gaming rig

I own a GeForce 8600GTS and I have this power supply.
The price is low so if you feel its a bad idea, don't buy it. However, mine has worked great since February.

LED fans dimming = lowered voltage. Since your powersupply is not a linear powersupply thus the voltage should always be constant. If not, it means your powersupply is majorly overloaded or underloaded.
