IP Adresses

ok i know you should NEVER give out an IP adress. duh. but like if i had someones, what could i do with it. like if i went to a friends and took his ip, then what? and how can you get someones ip?

PS: im not tryin to rape people here lol. im 14

basically, it's the equilvalent of having someone's address. If you have their address you can go to their house, break in and steal their valuables (in this case things like passwords and contact info and such). The difference is almost every computer nowadays has such good security, you need to know how to jump through a laser beam or two to even get near the house.

Basically.. if you know someone's ip, you can find where they live (approximately) and which ISP they're using.

I don't think it's legal to talk about other stuff that you can do with someone's IP address on this forum so i'm not going to discuss about it.
