Default Video Editor for XP

Hey... i'm not exactly sure where to put this thread, but i thought this would be a good place to start.

I'm looking for a good Video Editor. Right now i'm using Windows Movie Maker... but that just is a little too simple. If any of you have any suggestions go ahead and lead me too it.

Thanks you guys!

^ I'm with him.

Go get Adobe Premiere. I've never used it, but I hear it's good.

Given Premiere or Vegas... I'm going to have to to premiere. Both are good in my opinion, but I like the way adobe's software handles.

By experience, do you mean the experience you gained from making the mis-heard youtube video? HAHA lol

Anyways.... I have used both the premier and sony vegas. They're both pretty good. This is the voice video editing/encoding enthusiast. LOL

I prefer using sony vegas because it loads faster than adobe premier.

The choice is yours. If you're getting it from a retail store, i suggest you buy the cheapest one.

If you're getting it from a non-legit source, I would recommend both of them and try them out. They're basically two software that does the same thing, but different interface.

I use Premiere and I find it hard to use and everything, but it has some good features I guess. Pinnacle is also a good one, my friend has it, it has some nice stuff, pretty easy to use.

Premiere for sure. Once you learn to use it it is an extremely powerful video editor with a relatively simple interface. You can get Premiere Elements bundled with Photoshop elements for about 80 dollars also.
