I have started a zB Folding@Home team. Folding@Home is a distributed computing project that uses spare computing power on personal computers to fold proteins. Folding proteins allows scientists do analyze how they fold. This is essential to understanding diseases like Alzheimer's, Mad Cow (BSE), CJD, ALS, Huntington's, Parkinson's disease, and many Cancers and cancer-related syndromes. All you have to do is download a simple piece of software that runs on your computer and works in the background. It does not slow down your computer because if you are using your PC resources for something the folding client will use less power. You can read more about the project at http://folding.stanford.edu
OUR TEAM NUMBER IS 128181 Input the above team number in your client configuration to donate points to the zB team. Types of Clients Standard CPU - Most people should use this client, if you have dual core, run one for each core. SMP Client - Run this if you have a very fast dual core that runs 24/7 or if you have a quad core processor, this will gain more points. GPU2 Client - Run this if you have a ATI Radeon 2xxx series or 3xxx series graphics card, this gains a lot of points as well. CPU and SMP clients are also available for Mac and Linux, GPU clients are not. Feel free to send me a private message if you have any questions. Reply here if you are participating with our team to give me an idea how many people are. Thank you

Zombii, the computer doesn't have to have fast gfx to fold if that's what you mean.

Yeah the PS3 is very powerful for folding. The 360 would be too, idk why there isn't one. Thank you for participating, look for your name in the stats once you complete a unit.
