Just thought I'd show the PC I'll be building in just a few weeks. It'll be for Gaming, but also will be just a powerful PC in general.
Black Apevia X-Plorer Case ![]() Going to throw in an extra 80mm and 120mm fan in there, too. ASUS P5E LGA 775 Intel X38 ATX Intel Motherboard ![]() Intel Core 2 Q6600 2.4GHz Quad Core Processor ![]() EVGA 512mb 8800GT Video Card ![]() OCZ StealthXStream 500W Power Supply ![]() OCZ Gold 4GB DDR2 800 RAM ![]() Samsung Spinpoint 750GB 7200rpm 32mb Cache Hard Drive ![]() Samsung 20X CD/DVD Burner ![]() And, of course... Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 64bit. Now, the accessories: Logitech G15 v2 Wired Gaming Keyboard ![]() Logitech G5 Wired Gaming Mouse ![]() Logitech X230 2.1 Speakers ![]() XTRAC Ripper Gaming Pad (11"x17") ![]() Yeah... I have no idea about the monitor, but this thing is over $1000 from Newegg. Thanks to Pierce, Gow, and Chiups for the help.

Very good choices.
I have all the same parts, except I have the green case, the 8800GTX instead of the 8800GT, just a 250gig HD, a different CD/DVD drive, and a different mouse. You will not regret your purchase.

Nice, you might try a smaller, 10000rpm HDD, Other than that it looks great!

Not worth the money. I need space, not speed in a hard drive.

lol 10k rpm hard drive.. that would cost too much and the memory wouldn't be that much >.< i would recommend going for 8800gts or 9800gtx if you willing to spend more.. or 3870x2..

That gaming mouse though, I don't really like the look of that, the design of it, you should get something that matches your keyboard...

It's alright. The look of the mouse doesn't matter to me.
And Techy, in gaming a higher RPM Hard Drive makes loading textures and maps faster, I believe. And I would have to get more stats on that laptop, as well as price.
