Seems like a pretty good deal for 250gb's, but 3.5 isn't too bad, it's like average or good/bad.
I really don't know any good external harddrives, but with a budge of $75, I'm thinking this is pretty good.

Go for it, if you really need the storage, and don't mind plugging it into an outlet whenever you need it.

That is why I suggested the Western Digital Passport 320gb hard drive from Best Buy, all it needs is a usb plug and its freaking tiny.

$150 though.. but if you can get a coupon from the post office 10% off the total would be $135.. and that 320gb is on clearance also at my local bestbuy for around $120 or less..

Dude if you have the space just buy an intenal drive they are much cheaper and larger not to mention faster as well. If you are looking for portability I would say anything more than 100gb is going to contridict "portability" factors. If your on a laptop well... I guess your stuck.

If I were you I'd go to like NewEgg and buy an internal drive of the size you want, then also buy an external enclosure. Then you just slide the hard drive you bought into the enclosure and screw it in. Then bam, you have an external drive with the capacity you want, and for most likely cheaper.

new buy.com users can have an addition $5 off $100 also so if you have a new account and using google checkout.. the total would be around $112 shipped for that 750gb hard drive lol

but i like this one more for $129 >.<: http://www.ecost.com/detail.aspx?edp...1&source=k9470

EEk, eCost isn't really reliable. I'd try the pricematch.

That thing is huge! I would say get something with more storage but a bit smaller (physically)

I agree with RTH121, SeaGate is a good brand, go with them, this is what I want to get from them (http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/pro...&test_cookie=1)
