I was watching the news a few days ago and they mentioned that Yahoo will be turning down MS offer and instead will team up with google which is beginning to also team up with AOL. Read on...

No big surprise, Yahoo used to use Google as a part of its search engine.

The article is pretty old. Nothing's final yet. From what I head last, MS is getting aggressive in acquiring Yahoo.

it's not good for ANY company to dominate the world, cause if google dominate all search engines they'll start charging it for it! and if Microsoft dominate the world include apple and all other software companys then they'll sell zunes for like $1000 and no one can do anything about it!

Google shouldn't get Yahoo!, in my opinion. Google is probably just doing it to compensate for its recent stagnation.

e.g. FireFox vs. IE, or Linux vs. Windows
