I do not recommend toshiba, the space for the tracpad is nowhere near enough around the edges.
What settings would you like to play WoW on? What is your price range?

theres a compaq laptop on clearance in bestbuy model name is Compaq V6719NR and the price range is $304-$449 at this moment.. its a 1gb ram, AMD turion TL-57, 7050m graphics, lightscribe dvd burner, 15.4" screen or theres a Dell 1525 Intel Pentium Duo core for $550 features are 15.4" screen, etc... just click here. Theres a lot of clearance computers in store at best buy, you should go check it out and see which one is cheapest.
that's all the advice i can give you... theres lots of bestbuy clearance laptops at this moment.. but sometime they don't post price.. so you have to ask.

I would recommend avoiding Compaq notebooks(Though not necessarily HP). Mine was reaching 160F, so the motherboard was replaced by HP/Compaq. The new motherboard caused it to reach 200F. In the end they replaced it and made it well worth my time and effort. But Vista is buggy enough as it is, and with HP/Compaq screwing with the OS, its horrible.. Though Vista pre-installed on HP notebooks tends to be fine.

If you order online, you can choose to not have extra crap installed.

Don't go Compaq, every compaq I have tried(and returned) has had a dead pixel. HP puts the wrong processor sticker on the case. Acer makes you pay to mail in the computer for repair while under warranty.
I would go with Dell for notebooks. http://configure.us.dell.com/dellsto...=bqdwjbg&s=bsd Runt, might as well spend a little more and get a core 2 duo. Quote:

Its not even a Core2Duo, Its a "Pentium Dual Core" with half the cache of a C2D.

I would go with the Turion if it is dual core. 1.4 is a little slow.
