I just can't wait till computers are so advanced that we won't need to worry about processor speed, RAM, HD space, graphics card, etc..

Can you imagine how insanely fast it'd need to be to support these processes? - either that or compression would need to make tremendous advances...

Wow - that's insane to think about...but think about how we're here doing this relatively fast when you think about 10 years ago - and we'd be insanely fast to 20 years ago! lol

I was standing in line at the post office the other day and nearly every other person had a bluetooth headset in the their ear. i was thinking how crazy that would've looked like to someone from 10 years ago

Does look nice but I won't see it happening till the processor folks move off the old Neumanns and into the Quantum processor. Not to mention a Wireless network that has a connection of at least 100mbps to work with that kind of seamless transition between things. Especially that last one.

The only thing out of that video that will be hitting the market anytime soon is the surface stuff.

I can't wait till I can actually afford to buy what I really want in a computer... Like, I'd just love to go online, pick a 1TB Hard Drive, 8GB Ram, 3.2GHz processor, dual 8800GTX's, and a 22" monitor and not worry about it costing $3,000.

With considering 10 years ago, remember Moore's law*. Doubles every 2.5 years, so for 10 years, it has doubled four times, which means 2^4 times faster.

*I know Moore's law isn't an actual law is originally directed towards limited aspects of computing
