Another vote to put Pidgin up there, its an amazing IM client. I'd also recommend Mediamonkey, although technically its not free if you want ALL of the features.

I would suggest TED (Torrent Episode Downloader). http://www.ted.nu/ . It helps you to keep up-to-date on your television shows by downloading the torrents from various websites and loading them into your default client.

Edit: Also, Revo Uninstaller from here, http://revouninstaller.com/ , should be added. It is a program used to clean up after programs when uninstalling them, as uninstallations usually leave behind files and registry entries.

Yeah, I think my favorite part of the Gold version is the Auto-playlists. Of course ID3 editing is free.
