Wanting To HACK!

I want to learn how to start hacking software, firmware or what ever else hacking has to offer in devices. Have no clue where to start. Can someone show me where or explain how to start hacking. Is there a book or website that will teach me how?

Holy crap that movie puts mindless back into mindless action movie. I literally squirmed in my seat and almost died, though my friends absolutely loved it. Great action, really horrible computer scenes.

1.Back up your system
2.Read books and just screw around with stuff.

What exactly is a keylogger? Can you like kelog someone elses comp that youve never even seen? I always thoght it would be cool to hack some stuff but never had an clue at all where to start.

a keylogger basically logs all the keys that are typed on a keyboard before windows can get to it. for example if Z is pressed on a keyboard, it goes over the wire reaches the system, and reaches the software keyboard driver, then passes through the keylogger before reaching whatever program is active. They are mainly used to get peoples usernames and passwords.

yes you can hack other peoples computer that you have not ever seen, I really don't know how to do it, but I know about keyloggers.

I personally dont think you can just jump into hacking. You need to learn a programming language and then consider it as your more likely to know exactly what your doing and how it is happening.

Depending on how you define "hacking," there's a lot of different ways you can go.

If you're looking at becoming a device hacker, my recommendation would be learn Assembly language and C and start reading through the rockbox code to get an idea of how embedded software is developed.

If you're looking at becoming a "hacker" like they show in the movies...well, then I'd recommend you stop thinking about it because technology doesn't work that way.

Thats a pretty basic function you can simply google it BUT many of the softwares contain spyware so be carefull.
