Default Itunes??

I know this isn't directly related to the Ipod but anywhay...

How many people have used Itunes for getting music?

I did (even though I didn't have an Ipod, but a different brand MP3 player) and I had a ton of trouble.

First Itunes only supports their Ipod, and nothing else.

Second, it didn't support my CD Burner so I couldn't burn my music to a CD... I mean I paid for the music, so you would think I should be able at least burn a CD...

I use the same methods of 'obtaining' media that Otaku does, but I never thought itunes as a media player, was all that bad.

It was such a bother to switch from WMP to itunes, I don't want to do that again, I'm comfortable with itunes.

I use itunes. It's the only music player I use (I have an ipod). However, I don't really use it to get my music. I've bought a song or two from them, but that's it.

Mostly, I have the actual CDs, or I purchase the music elsewhere.

Well duh. Why would it support anything else? Then they'd have to charge for it or something. And that's dumb. I paid for my iPod, I should be able to use the program free of charge.

I don't use iTunes to get my stuff. It's pretty much stupid to pay $.99 a song when I can buy the entire CD cheaper in most cases. So I either get the songs from friends or buy the CD.

let's not forget music sold on the Zune store will only work on the Zune, so if you want to use that music I guess you'll only be able to use WMP

iTunes is my main Music player. I also use it to buy songs (And I'm the only 16 year old I know who *buys* music XP). I think thats going to be the toughest part about converting from and iPod user to a Zune user. iTunes is so Flawless and Easy when it comes to buying music, And they always have the songs I want.

iTunes is only for putting my music on the ipod. otherwise I use "quintessential player" its easy on the RAM, and has a great deal of options for so small a program.

It's too bad there are people out there who buy music off of itunes... considering you can get the same song in the same sound quality without any protection in the form of an mp3 off of hundreds of different legit sites on the internet.

Ive never uninstalled itunes, but if your afraid you will lose all your music, just simply move the folder where all the songs are stored to another location temporarily. Then you can uninstall iTunes and keep all the music. But I highly doubt when you uninstall iTunes that it will delete all your music.
