Since I have gone through 3 computers already and can't get one with good performance, I have decided to build my own computer. I was wondering If, with the parts I chose, everything would fit and is compatible.
I'm not sure i want to spend that much money on a CPU......
And I am going to go with more fans of course, i know it is common sense to have fans in the computer, but the card reader got me. I forgot that i have some SD cards so maybe i'll get one.
Another thing is that since i could go to a Tiger Direct around 15minutes from my house i would prefer them since i could see the parts for myself before i buy them.

1. What will this computer be used for?(Looks like a power user.)
2. All those should work, the main problem is what OS you are using, if you are using Windows, getting drivers shouldn't be too hard.
I'm going to use either Vista or 7, I'm debating on that....
Obviously this is going to be a gaming pc
The question that hasn't been answered yet is: Will everything fit together?

Everything appears compatible to me. You might want to invest in a sound card if you are going for a gaming computer. I would recommend at least getting the Soundblaster X-Fi from Creative
Don't get an external sound card, I guarantee unless you're also using it for a recording studio you won't even notice a difference. What a waste of money

No, of course I'm getting an internal one
Edit: Is there a difference in performance in Dual channel RAM vs. Tri- channel?
Edit2: Now the only free slot i have left is 1 PCI slot, so if there is anything else, it better be PCI.

external sound card? What on earth do you mean?
If you mean stick with on board than I have to disagree. Using a pci or pci-e sound card not only uses less resources/makes the game run faster, it sounds MUCH better. I have experience in the matter, haha.
I looked at the sound card you recommended and it looks like it will play great sound. I hope I'm right though......
Edit: according to Tigerdirect this computer is going to weigh about 51 Lbs. Thats pretty heavy IMO but I don't really care I'm just mentioning that.

Excuse me for saying so, but you must have a really ****ty pc for your game to run noticeably faster with a non-integrated sound board. I don't know about other chipsets, but my motherboard has an integrated Realtek sound chip that provides excellent sound quality, and even 5.1 surround sound capabilities. Unless I was to spend more than 70 dollars on an additional board, the difference in quality would be undiscernable.

Yea, my computer is a PoS, but you can't say that they aren't worth it. On board sound cards don't support EAX or any of the other awesome things that dedicated sound cards provide. Your onboard sounds nicer than any on board I've ever seen. The computer i'm on now doesn't support surround sound with its onboard and it's only 2 years old.
Just a note, the Pos pc and the computer i'm on now are not the same thing.

The case that I am getting has enough room for about 4 fans plus the power supply fan so I don't think cooling would be a problem, but as you may have heard anytime I'm on the SB, my Linksys adapter craps on me....
@ Jorvette I have always been fine with the onboard LAN so i doubt it would be of any use to get a card like that it's the wireless internet that I need more.
Edit: I just changed the power supply and the video card if someone could look at them and see if it is compatible with everything.
I would suggest you get a ram from another company other than crucial, pay the extra bucks to get something from Mushkin or OCZ, I only say this because many of the reviews that I have read for crucial have been about how they got bad sticks, and I am not talking like 1 stick out of 6, this was like 2 out of 4.
