I have some. I "obtained" this file via nefarious channels, but am now at a standstill.

I downloaded a .UIF file of AutoCad Architecture (which I paid for! all $4k of it, officer!)

However, my compy won't open it. Do I first need to burn it to a disc? If so should I burn the files or make it in CD/DVD format?

It's the getaway part of this plan that I can't execute so well..

Programs like alcohol 120% should allow you to mount the .uif file and use it. You don't have to burn it on a disc..

Although if I'm reading that wrong and you did use something like alcohol 120% to open it and it doesn't.

I have Ashampoo- is that similar to what Alcohol 120% would do, or not?

I think it's similar, but I know that Alcohol tends to be pretty epic about stuff (it even bypasses copy protection), so it's worth trying.
