[Tutorial]Xbox 360's wireless problem?

I have discovered another way to connect to live w/ out the need of a wireless adapter or rerouting ur router so that u can connect to it w/ ur xbox/xbox360
Really u have no router by ur tv nor the wireless adapter (that cost $100 new or used one $60).
if u have a latop w/ wireless connection and an ethernet port then ur set that all u need to have live for ur beloved xbox..

The items that you will need to acomplish this:
1. Xbox/ Xbox360
2. Desktop Pc / Laptop (with wireless internet)
3. Crossover Patch cable (You can buy one or make one your self)

Now first ull need to make the cable /buy one Follow this link to buy or make your own cable:

Then you will go to you wireless adapter and activate ICS (Internet Connection Sharing).
To get to this point you need to go to Start>Show all Connections>Right click Wireless connection>then go to properties> click on advance tab>then click ont the check box that says (allow other ntwork users to connect through this computer's internet connection)>then click on the settings button right under that thats when u will need to check thesee boxes:

(This is important u need to check these boxes in order for this to work)


#3> u should see in your task bar that ther is a icon that depicts two pcs connected as if u are connected to your router throught your ethernet port


Now connect the cable u made or bought to your pc's ethernet port thne connect the other end of the cable to your Xbox/xbo360's ethernet port
the status of the icon should show that u have a live connection if not then u made the cable wrong..
the run the network test on ur xbox/xbox360 to see ur new ip for your xbox

After all that u should be playing on live in no time

I don't have the advance settings for some reason.

Edit: I found the window that looks like that with ICS, but some of the boxes were missing to check, so I created the DHCP ones and the DNS one with the port numbers I think they used, but I don't know about UPnP (TCP) and (UDP), any help?
