please can someone help me?

when i plug my zune into my laptop it makes a noise like it's reading it but when i open up zunes to put music in it says my zune isnt connceted..

please can someone help me

Uninstall the zune software
Download/run UnZoone (link in my sig)
Reboot
Redownload/reinstall the zune software.

See if that works.
