External HD help

Hello, I have WD external HD, 250 I think, and its not showing up in my compter anymore. It has worked for a while and the cable is good and ive tried it on other comps, it wont show up.

Finally I was able to get an error, so here it is.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

A friend of mine's HDD did this too and I used some recovery software on it.

Did you happen to delete the partitions? or did it just fail?

This type of thing would be driver free. When you put your ear up ti it and boot it up, what do you hear?
