How can I Connect a 96 Buick Century stereo to my 80gb Zune. I want to wire it, but if their is another way, i would love to hear. I don't want to mess with radio transmitters or modulators. I'm think I am going have to disconnect the radio though, but i don't know how and what i would need to do so. Please help. And thank you

The radio transmitter is the only way I can think of that would be practicle. The only other alternative I can think of is the headset-to-stereo converter cord and you could plug those into an amplifiers input and then have 4-6 speakers as output but that would take a lot of work.

An alternative if you have the ducats and can find one that fits is to get a Radio with an AUX input. If it is a working cassette deck you can use a cassette adapter.
The FM radio transmitters are a joke unless you add some antenna boosting to them. They are a joke because the FCC nerfs them like no other.

I am using
I did a bunch of searching and this is really the best bet for older stereos while still maintaining decent audio quality. |

Or option #4, get a new car
Or option #5, become a cyborg with a zune gui built into your head. I prefer the latter... you'll get used to the itching...

Like GOW said, cassette adapters work in older cars, are cheap, and sound great too
That's what I use.

I'm in agreement with gow - if you can afford a stereo system with an AUX input, then the matter of finding a dock for the zune to fit in would be a minor detail. As a knock on effect, you wouldn't have to do anything complicated to your car.

Well you said you want to wire it right?
If you put in a new stereo, you could find a stereo that accepts the Zune, and an input or do like everybody else is saying Aux input it. or cassette whichever.
