I am not comparing the processors. When did I do that? I just said that you should be fine if you get more RAM and said with what I used Vista. The recommended requirement for the processor for Vista is 1 GHz (32-bit or 64-bit)... I would think that 2.66 GHz is plenty regarding that requirement.

I don't mean to be rude, but I believe in being blunt - do you actually have any idea of what you're talking about? a 2.66ghz P4 processor with a graphics card of 256mb or more with say...2gb of ram would get an average rating of 3.0 on vista's scoring system - that's more than sufficient.
