Default Winavi keeps freezing.

I followed a tutorial by Dragod on how to convert video files on Winavi. I installed it and it worked perfectly for a while, but since yesterday, as soon as I click on the button to convert my media files to WMV format, it just freezes and a message saying that WinAvi 9.0.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close.

Please, if you can help...
I really enjoyed this program, and I'd like to keep using it.

Thank you.

you can't really do anything about it, WinAVI does have problem converting some videos and then it freeze for a few minutes or so it will go.. but for the rest.. it'll either or close program itself.. lol and what OS u using? vista might have more problems than xp.

What are your computers specs? Either time for an OS reinstall or a new computer.

Oh... thank you both for your answers.
I'm using XP. However, I don't understand how I should possibly buy a new computer just for that ? It's the only program it's happening with.

Oh, thank you.
Yeah... I guess it's the problem is caused by the program itself.
I wonder if it does it with the older versions, though.

I'm not sure, but theres no such thing as WinAVI 9.0 actually, only a modded version of WinAVI 8.0, from the company, last released was actually WinAVI 8.0 I believe >.<
