I thought a buddy was buying you a laptop. http://www.zuneboards.com/forums/tec...ew-laptop.html I think microwaves are the typical method.

Fry?
As in making it look like you didn't do it? Or making it look like an accident? Or making it look like you "fried" it so you could get you warranty money back and get something better?

They won't give you money unless it's a store extended warranty.
Anyway, start running some video converting and cover up the vents. I recommend doing this outside as it could be dangerous.

It is a best buy 3 yr performance service plan. The vents have been covered for a couple of months, and I have converted a few movies. also, messing w/ the circuit breaker would piss my parents off, so thats not an option.

The only working idea I can think of is to overclock your core to the max that you can. Probably around 300% and start converting a movie. Knowing overclocking it will probably take about 30 - 45 minutes to convert a movie. (Make sure your laptop isn't on anything you want to keep)

The above method all deserve a Phail!!!!.
Here's the trick. 1) get one of those plug thing that plugs into your laptop. It's round and has a hole in the middle. 2) Connected to a household electricity 3) Bam, the internal power circuit is fried. Overclocking or overheating would work because the processor will automatically shut down or throttle back at specific temperature
