Default Toshiba lappy problems


ive been havin some problems with my toshiba satellite a215-s5837

i think i can fix most of them, but i have one REALLY annoying one. every now and then, my little bar at the bottom of thje screen freezes. i click it, then it tells me windows explorer had a problem, and i need to restart windows exploere, close it, or wait. its REALLY GAY >_<. o and its vista

also: can some1 plz help me find xp drivers for this compu? it world help alot of things XD.

I think a fresh windows reinstall would solve that. Did toshiba include reinstall disks?

reformat to a time where it worked. I dont think you would need a full reinstall just yet.. When you start getting the BSOD Then you wanna reinstall freshly.

if it doesn't come with a disc, but inside the OS, there might be a recovery on it or something... or theres a file to make a backup of window os.. and then reinstall it if you don't have disc coming with the laptop.

Yeah, either restore from the restore partition on the hard drive, or try using a system restore point. You could always get some normal XP cds and use the key off the sticker on the laptop.

well one time i called customer support they stopped including cds back in 2005. So they told me to make a recover disk from my computer i hope you made of of those before it started acting all weird.

The fact that it's Toshiba might have something to do with it too.
