Good luck trying to play 360 on that. In my experience hooking a 360 up to a standard definition TV, yet alone an old one looks horrid. I tried it before, without hooking it up with high definition they just look like Xbox 1 graphics.

i dont agree at all, even on standard def tvs games look amazing. the only problem is that text is optimized for HD so sometimes it's hard to read words on the screen.
there is no way a 360 on an SDTV is comparable to an xbox1... 360 blows it out of the water no matter what display you use.

Either way, you're going to get a bit of lag... But for most it isn't a problem. It is for me, because I play competitive Halo... And I'm pretty sure Microsoft doesn't sell a cable specifically for it like it does HD/AV and VGA.

all these suggestions but a vcr is great.. we all have them lying around somewhere. and for the graphic i agree with hostile. I played my Original xbox on a really on tv. and it looked terrible. compared to my flatscreen hdtv now.. So even though you want to go retro. A vcr is the way to go.

I disagree with you PoN about the VCR. Yes it would work and makes sense, but like Dragod mentioned, with a VCR you will get noticeable lag I think. Even if it's not that noticeable it will be there, so your playing will not be as good as it would be hooked up regularly. I guess try it and see.
