Default Download .swf movies?

I need some software, or a site, that I can plug in a .html address that is a .swf movie. I have tried the "Keep It!" site, but it doesn't work for anything ending in .html. Does anyone know anything? Thanks

Did this firefox extension work for you? Seems like it should do what you want it. If not, let us know, I'll look into some more ways to download .flv videos.

If you don't want to install anything.. you can always wait for the video to completely load. The video will be automatically downloaded by then to the browser's temporary folder. There you would find the .flv or any streamed videos.

Yeah that would be okay if you just wanted to watch the video on the computer. You'd have to install some sort of software that plays .flv files. You probably would also want software to convert that .flv file to something more usable, like divx or xvid or something.

Get vDownloader (google search). It will download the files and convert then to preatty much any format you want, so then you can watch them.

zachnehrenberg, I've never heard of vDownloader but I just checked it out. It looks pretty sweet. I'd say that's the best recommendation in the thread so far. I don't know if vDownloader will allow him to download videos from like random websites like he's trying to do, but maybe it will.

There is a list in the right menu that has a bunch of different supported sites, although I think it works everywhere anyway.
