Default Another way of getting music off device?

My zune screen was recently cracked although I can play my music fine on the device. NOw I'm trying to sync my music files back onto my computer but when I plug it in the device isn't recognized as connected. Is there another way of getting the files off my device?
The ports on my computer are fine and I've tried connecting it to other computers too but nothing shows.
Please help

If it is the port on the device than the only way to get the music off is by physically connecting the hard drive, which voids the warranty (since you have to remove the drive) and is quite difficult to do.

Just so you know, the warranty is already void. I would recommend a ZIF(Adapter Zune HDD uses) to USB adapter.

Do you live outside of the US, have Paypal, and want the Zune Pass? If so PM me.

So does it charge, or has it only been one charge since this happened?

Default the warrenty is voided already

I've had it for like two years already. How would I go about directly connecting it to the zune hdd?

I don't know what that is or what it looks like. I'm very computer illiterate. Where would I get one of those?
